FARM TECHNOLOGY

Farm machinery, equipment, and technology has come a long way since its origins. Every year farmers are discovering
new ways to increase farm efficiency and technology. New farm machinery has drastically increased productivity on farms.
A machine called a cotton picker can harvest the same amount of cotton in a couple of hours as it takes 100 people to harvest
in one day. It used to be that it took 10 farmers to feed one person, now one farmer can fed hundreds due to increased technology
and mechanized agriculture. Farmers used to have to work the fields with hand tools, eventually animals such as oxen were used
to pull the earliest plows, as agricultural technology evolved further machines such as tractors and combines came into play.
Farms have come a long way since hand tools and they will continue to evolve and become more technologically advanced.

As farming evolves newer, bigger, and better tools and farming practices will arise and from the new technologies farms will become far more advanced than we could have ever imagined. This means more crop yield, which can help with the world hunger problem; theese technologies could also give rise to machinery and practices that can successfully reduce runoff and help the environment.
